Dr. Peter Sousa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics in Sedona, Arizona. He also earned a Doctor of Alternative Medicines with a specialization in Herbalism and Reiki Healing from IBAM (Indian Board of Alternative Medicines) during its time of full accreditation in 2016. Dr. Sousa furthered his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Walden University, focusing in Wellness, Leadership, and Non-profits, followed by an MBA from the same institution, where he focused on Finance, Leadership, and Non-profits.

In addition to his formal degrees, Dr. Sousa has obtained a Certificate in Stress Management from Harvard Medical School. He is a certified Reiki Teacher and Master, having trained under the guidance of renowned Reiki Master Aimee Phlegar. He also holds a Meditation Instructor Certification from The Priority Academy and is a Certified Crystal Healing Practitioner through the Academy of Ancient Magick.
