Study format, tuition and admissions

Online, self-paced religious study. The current curriculum lists 10 courses and 30 credit hours. Completion depends on meeting the program's academic requirements; no fixed completion time is promised.

Current tuition is $89 per month. Total tuition depends on the number of billed months, not a fixed program total.

New students need program-specific application approval before their first tuition payment. Applicants above Associate level must complete prior-credential review.

Credential recognition

These are church-issued religious credentials, not regionally accredited academic degrees or state licensure. Acceptance by employers and other institutions is not guaranteed. Spiritual care study does not qualify graduates to provide regulated clinical services.

    Advanced trauma-informed pastoral counseling. Complex PTSD, dissociation, somatic approaches, treating spiritual trauma.

  • MDIV-PCS-504 — Family Systems and Pastoral Counseling

    Family systems theory in pastoral counseling. Bowen theory, structural family approaches, pastoral family therapy frameworks.

  • MDIV-PCS-505 — Grief and Loss Counseling at Master Level

    Master-level grief counseling. Complicated grief treatment, prolonged grief disorder, advanced grief group facilitation.

  • MDIV-PCS-506 — Supervision in Pastoral Counseling Ministry

    Providing supervision for pastoral counselors. Supervision models, supervisory relationship, ethics of supervision.

    Facilitating group spiritual direction. Sacred circle models, group dynamics in spiritual direction, facilitating mystical community.

    Advanced ethics for pastoral counselors. Legal scope, malpractice awareness, mandatory reporting, professional identity.

  • MDIV-PCS-509 — Research in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Direction

    Research foundations for pastoral counselors. Reading clinical research, applying findings, contributing to the field.

  • MDIV-PCS-510 — Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Direction Capstone

    Integrative capstone. Students present their complete pastoral counseling and spiritual direction ministry.
